About Zoe Grisez
Everything about me revolves around language - my love for reading and writing, my taste in stories shown as movies and TV shows, and the music lyrics I obsess over. I studied English with a concentration in Creative Writing and minors in Writing Practices and Theatre at the University of Denver, and in the fall I will start my MFA in Creative Writing at Regis University. As you'll see through my writing portfolio, I am dedicated to making language and stories inclusive, and focus a lot on disability representation within creative fiction and nonfiction.

When I'm not reading or writing (which, let's face it, is almost all the time), I enjoy going to concerts, playing Mario Kart with friends, and hanging out with my family.

My Latest Projects

My honors thesis was completed throughout my senior year at DU, and focuses on disability representation in a short collective of fictional stories. My main focus was to show audiences that disabled characters can act as more than the source of inspiration for a story: they can be the main characters.

While I have written many cover letters and personal statements this year while applying to grad schools and internships, here is a sample of one that showcases my dedication towards English and Writing.
